How Adorable Are These?
Julie, our fabulous knitting friend, sent a pic of the blueberry hat she made for Baby M. The extra is for Danika. Can't wait for the cousins to be chilling in their matching blueberry hats. You better believe I'll be checking the mail every day from now until it arrives...

Baby D, Baby M and Mini Boom
Sara and I visited our cousin Megan and her new baby Mason (born about two weeks before Danika) yesterday.
Megan, Sara and I were all pregnant together at Christmas and now I'm the only remaining preggo. Which is a little discouraging (though I was the only one at our visit yesterday who wasn't lamenting how hard it is to find time to take a shower these days...)
Still it is fun to think that all these little cuzzy's (once removed, that's the right term isn't it?) are going to be so close in age. Plus they have some awesome older cousins to look up to (Hannah, Kate, Mia, Kai, Carson and lil Grady)
I'd just finished my 0th birthday gift for little M a few days before (with the help of my mama): A Mini Boomer stuffed animal and dog appliqued onesie. Boomer is the Gibson family yellow lab. Mini Boom is the first stuffed animal I had ever made. They are tricky little buggers. I'm thinking Danika may get a Bodhi dog for Christmas next year, though no guarantees.
How cute is this little guy? Mason is a sweet, sweet little fellow. Feeling pretty blessed to have him in the family!
In our own baby news, a visit to my doctor confirmed what Ry and I suspected: our little one has dropped and is ready for delivery. We are currently at 34 and a half weeks, which is still a little early, but the doc confirms it is nothing to be worried about. We're hoping Baby M holds keeps baking until at least 37 weeks, which is considered full term. Also, she needs to bake a little longer because we haven't taken our birthing class yet (it's this weekend) and because we are not at all prepared for her arrival. The dogs need baths among other things.

The best thing happened...
My niece Danika Grace was born a few days ago!
She couldn't be cuter. No really. This kid is cute. And I'm not just saying this because I am her auntie.
A big congratulations to Sara and Jason!
Danika is three days old, and already we have nearly 300 pictures of her. Oh dear.
In other news, today marks the beginning of my 33rd week of pregnancy! Only a few more to go!

I Don't Knit
But if I did, I would knit Molly a little hat like this:
Luckily we know people who knit, and who were nice enough to offer to make one for us (thank you Julie!!). We can't wait to plunk it on her little head (or big head, 24 week ultrasound put her head size in the 95th percentile...argh).
Do you knit? Check out a tutorial on how to knit a hat like this here.
Don't knit? Purchasing a blueberry hat from this Etsy store was my back up plan...
Maybe someday I will learn how to knit. I hear you can knit while you wait for things (like the bus, or at the dmv). Maybe I should get a book (or find an online tutorial). My guess is I have a better chance of learning how to knit before Molly is born as opposed to after. I'll add that to the list of things to do in the next seven weeks.

Coming Soon...
Manette Molly is due March 4, 2012, and Ryan and I couldn't be more excited!
In the meantime, my sister is also pregnant and due January 13, 2012. Tonight is a full moon, and we've heard lots of babies choose to make their grand entrances on full moons, so perhaps tonight is the night?
We'll keep you posted...
In the meantime, here's our Christmas card pic (yep, no heads, I was too tired for hair or makeup!)
